In Emerged in Ice wallpaper Tristam29 requested a lighter version with the purple gentoo logo color. Here it is (I still prefer the darker - but that's just me ).
The 640x480 preview:

Larger versions: 1024x768, 1152x864, 1280x1024 and 1600x1200.
[update]This is the old version, see the updated one below _________________ There's someone in my head but it's not me - Pink Floyd

OK, after a goodnight sleep (and obviousley a clear vision), I've modified the wallpaper a bit, changed the water colors, lighting, ice cube translucensy, and I like this one better (I actually can live with this one ).

You're right, serves me right for making wallpaper modifications at 3am. _________________ There's someone in my head but it's not me - Pink Floyd |

That is awesome! I am using it as my background on my main computer. I'm extremely pleased with your work. It's worthy of being a background for the best Linux distrobution on the planet today. I am going to work on a fluxbox configuration that I like with it and if I come up with something worth sharing I'll post it here. I really like the lighter shaded g. It stands out quite nicely. The second version is nicer than the first, but they are both wonderful. Thank you for sharing this with all of us! I've been looking for a nice gentoo background for my laptop so I can really have some cool visuals to go along with emerge when I'm showing off gentoo. _________________ if i never try anything, i never learn anything..
