|
|
I'm trying to emerge /usr/portage/dev-lang/mono/mono-0.25.ebuild, and am getting segfaults. 0.23-r1 and 0.24-r1 build just fine.
using CFLAGS="-O3 -mcpu=i686 -pipe" on a Pentium III (Coppermine)
Has anyone else had success/trouble with this? |

I had no problems on my Athlon with:
CFLAGS="-march=athlon -O3 -pipe" |

I've had to stay with 0.24-r1 for now.. Maybe emerge sync in a few days and it will be fixed.

I was perfectly able to emerge Mono 0.25 some days ago... on my P166, so it took about 20 hours Normally I also get segfaults quite frequently (), but not with Mono... |

i was able to finally emerge 0.25-r1. I guess the 0.25 build can use it's own garbage collector, rather than depending on boehm. At any rate, i was able to build 0.25r-1 after i unmerged boehm-gc. |
