What type of network are you guys running? Meaning, what is connection speed to the internet, OC-92? T3's? couple T1's?
whenever I try using gentoo, there is a definite lag when I try to access the forums, maybe try to put the forum on another faster machine.
what are the big bottlenecks in speed that you are seeing? |

I usually don't have any 'lag' when accessing the forums. _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |

I don't have much of any lag, either. Right now, though, the primary bottleneck is the box itself -- it's rather CPU-intensive. (It did get moved to a "bigger box" and is getting happier, though.) _________________ I don't believe in witty sigs. |

I've noticed the forums being pretty slow lately. 3-4 second wait between pages sometimes. (Not big pages either) doing this from work so its not a question of my bandwidth, cuz I'm pretty sure its MASSIVE, and nobody's in the building on sundays except about 10 of us. |
