I'm newbies on gentoo. my machine is sun ultra60. ram 512 Mb 2x360Mhz and Graphic card creator3d. I can install Suse linux 7.3 (SPARC version) but that old and not have patch to support now. I choose new OS to install on my machine is that Gentoo.
but ihave problem while install gentoo that is I can't see "#" root cmd and my screen is blank. But that i think it can work because i can restart and shutdown by use conmmand "reboot" and "shutdown"(Blind typing) here is the system process before blank screen. help me please.
and it read my cdrom and run SILO next

after this that have blank screen for 2-3 sec and print this on screen

Sounds like your console setup is wrong.
Check the input-device and output-device settings in OBP, for video out/keyboard in they should be "keyboard" for input-device and "screen" for output-device.

for this i set output-device to "SCREEN" and other resolution. but that still does not work too.
this problem make me headache.  |
