I have seen a post regarding this problem and I faced it too.

Code:
checking for correct ltmain.sh version... no
configure: error:

*** [Gentoo] sanity check failed! ***
*** libtool.m4 and ltmain.sh have a version mismatch! ***
*** (libtool.m4 = 1.5.22, ltmain.sh = 1.5a) ***

Please run:

libtoolize --copy --force

if appropriate, please contact the maintainer of this
package (or your distribution) for help.

*** Exited with status: 1 ***

Is there anyone who is taking care of this bug ?

apparently it appears with a lot of packages. i don't know how to fix it in kdevelop and now that i need desperately to use kdevelop it doesn't work.... :(

well it seems that typing libtoolize --copy --force into the kdevelop konsole fixes this issue.

Moved from Portage & Programming to Duplicate Threads, refer to topic "Libtool.m4 and ltmain.sh Problems". This problem has been reported in the KDE bug tracking system, where it has been marked as an invalid bug, though it is also mentioned in the kdevelop FAQ.
