Ho guardato sul man di emerge ma nn ho trovato niente a riguardo 
Che voi sappiate si può dire ad emerge -p di indicarmi anche le dimensioni dei pacchetti che andrà ad installare?

No, anche perche' la dimensione risente pesantemente della compilazione, che e' estremamente variabile (opzioni incluse/escluse, ottimizzazioni, ecc).

Nono, io intendevo l'output di emerge -p che mi da oltre al pacchetto con relativo numero di versione, anche la sua dimensione.
