I've forgotten to give "-1" when I installed the meta-package "gnome".
I'd like it to be removed from world now, so that I can unmerge evolution and epiphany.
How can I do that? |

You could just edit /var/lib/portage/world and remove it (worked for me when I was clearing stuff out anyway). |

Rob1n's method will work, but in this case since gnome is just a metapackage, you can `emerge -C gnome` to remove it from world. _________________ www.gentoo.org.au || #gentoo-au |

Yes.. they work.
But I need the gnome package or --depclean will remove everything ...........
If I mask evolution and epiphany, emerge just fails........... |
