I have a compaq v2000 with Turion @ 1.8Ghz and a desktop with Athlon 64 3700+. Both have integrated ATI 200 Xpress Video Card. When it reaches log in it keeps flashing on and off for like 3 times and then it says that X cant load because configuration may be worng. I can run it just fine without X. Any ideas why? _________________ user@gentoo:~$ su root

Probably because the configuration on the LiveCD is wrong for your machine. I don't how the LiveCD handles that, but it's probably trying to do some autoconfiguration and failing. _________________ Thomas S. Howard |
