I had root (hd0,3). I have since changed it to (hd0,0). When the boot menu comes up it is using the old configuration file (on (hd0,3). If I type 'c', and then "configfile /grub/grub.conf" it brings up the configuration file it should be using. I've tried "root (hd0,0)" and then "setup (hd0)" runnging grub from the live CD, but this code not change the behavior. Any ideas on how to get it tor use (hd0,0). Thanks,
Fred
