I am experiencing problem with compiling alsa-driver-1.0.14. Compilation always failed half way through. Here are some errors:

Has anyone seen similar problem? or can tell anything wrong?

Yes I had the same problem using 2.6.20-viper2 sources as well as the 2.6.20-gentoo sources.
I eventually used the Kernel ALSA driver....
I haven't tried again since that (about a month ago)

Compiling alsa-driver-1.0.14_rc3 has no problem. Just wonder what's changed.
Kernel-2.6.20 probably does not include alsa driver as recent as 1.0.14.
