Netscape on solaris

Much as I wish to be on any of my gentoo boxes (or anything more modern) the place where I am has the choice of netscape 4.79 and lynx. The forum is not rendering if there are icq images. They appear at the top of the page, above the "gentoo discussion forums" logo, and it stops rendering.
