If I do
#emerge mod_php
may I choose how to compile it, I mean --with-mysql --with-imap ... ?
I didn't try yet but on FreeBSD, I've gat a menu to choose which arguments I need.
So I ask

| As far as I can tell there is no mod_php. I'm guessing that you have to download the tarball and do it by hand. As far as the options, I've yet to be asked anything when doing an emerge. I believe that you have to set the conditions before emerging. I'm really knew to gentoo though, so take anything that I write with a grain of salt. |
