HI
I woul like to configure proftpd for that: I need a acces to the apache web server (/home/httpd/htdocs/) with a user for update the site. How I configure proftps for my user have access.

I would assume you'd either point the user's home directory to /home/httpd/htdocs or make a symlink to it in another folder. Just make sure the ftp user has the same permissions as the owner of the files.
Pure-ftpd might be a bit less compilicated than pro-ftpd and even has a nice GUI configurator (puregui) - check it out. |
