Well I was sitting here in my small, courner of the world country typing away at my beautifull gentoo when I wondered, are there any more of 'us' in this land?
So are there any fellow gentoo user's out there in the small land of New Zealand?
Thanks again, Ducky. |

Hmm, I'd take a stab and say Swaziland or Rwanda.. Lowly-developed (small) African countries. |

You're from NZ as well?
Anyway... With a name like 'suicideducky' I think that we've got an emo.... Let's ship him off to France along with his melancholy. _________________ The God idea is growing more impersonal and nebulous in proportion as the human mind is learning to understand natural phenomena and in the degree that science progressively correlates human and social events. -- Emma Goldman |

Maybe everyone's internet is so unreliable now that they still can't post on here?
I have a feeling there were one or two others - I think maybe a girl from Wellington, but I can't remember her username. _________________ What are you, stupid? |

Crap weather outside, was so nice this morning. _________________ The God idea is growing more impersonal and nebulous in proportion as the human mind is learning to understand natural phenomena and in the degree that science progressively correlates human and social events. -- Emma Goldman |

Well, I'm in the Waikato, and the weather is quite nice, so I'm sure you'll get it soon. _________________ He who calls for full employment calls for war! |

I'm an on-and-off gentoo user from NZ.
The girl from wellington you're thinking of is probably brandy, a way back she used to be a forum mod (i think) and also an actual dev.
She retired some time ago though, and i have no clue as to what she's actually doing atm.
I remember there was quite a furor when she got made a mod, due to her being a girl and also a rather attractive girl at that.
That all died down though and she did a great job of things.
And her website is even still up... http://home.clear.net.nz/pages/gentoo/index.html
But as you can see, hasn't been updated since 2003. |

Mm yeah, she's pretty... But I wonder what her personality was like...
More importantly, what were her political beliefs like (I'm finding to many technically brilliant women to be far too fascist for my liking)? :-p _________________ The God idea is growing more impersonal and nebulous in proportion as the human mind is learning to understand natural phenomena and in the degree that science progressively correlates human and social events. -- Emma Goldman |
