Help!!!! I am the biggest noob when it comes to anything with computers. But I followed the instructions to install Gentoo on my PS3 with http://ps3wiki.qj.net/index.php/Gentoo_Howto

so I rebooted after i supposedly installed it and it did show up in the proper resolution i set it at, but then something happened, While booting up at the black penguin screen, when it checks the root filesystem i get this error message:

ext2fs_check_if_mount: No such file or directory while determining whether /dev/ROOT is mounted.
fsck.ext3: No such file or directory while trying to open /dev/ROOT
/dev/ROOT:
The superblock could not be read or does not describe a correct ext2 filesystem. If the device is valid and it really contains an ext2 filesystem (and not swap or ufs or something else), the the superblock is corrupt, and you might try running e2fsck with an alternative superblock: e2fsck -b 8193 <device>

* Filesystem couldn't be fixed :( [!!]
Give root password for maintenance
(or type Control-D to continue): "

And that is my terrible story. I've done this install two times now, and formatted my PS3 4 times, 1 being a full format...I can't do anything at all, any command I input is met with an Errno, and I can't even boot back into the PS3 OS without the system locking up!! Help please!!! I beg of you!
