Hi,
I'm not sure that it is not my fault, but when I type http://gentoo.org/ it does not go here but to some website searchportal.information.com. When I use http://www.gentoo.org/, everything is ok (as usual). The Gentoo page is not alone, about 1/4 of all search results on Google go there, instead of the the original site and typing/deleting www does not help. I tried other computers to make sure it is not some linux - spyware or malware, it happens elsewhere too.
Can you confirm this or is it a local problem? What is the solution? Since some websites are due to this error/spam unreachable, it is quite annoying.
Any help or ideas very aprreciated.

Local problem. Maybe some router misconfiguration.

Try switching DNS Servers ...
