|
I prefer thunderbird as my email client, so decide to remove or disable evolution from gnome.
I've tried package.mask, but this will block gnome from updating .
Is there any method to unemerge evolution permanently without affecting gnome? |

I write my own ebuild and put it in a local overlay, deleting the stuff from it I don't want. _________________ Personal overlay | Simple backup scheme |

Note that gnome-extra/bug-buddy depends on gnome-extra/evolution-data-server. Gnome basically expects Evolution to be present.
See thread for ideas. |
