you mean /usr/portage/profiles/default-linux/x86/dev/2007.0.
Anyway, people shouldn't use the 2007.0 profile before it's officially launched. If one has problems with it, don't expect sympathy from the releng team.

Like most things in the open source world, it'll be released When It's Done(TM). It's not like there's any major changes happening for this release. Don't forget that the Gentoo releases are generally only about profile updates and release media updates. You can install 2006.1 right now and just upgrade your profile when 2007.0 comes out.

The release notes say March 07, I would guess mid april.

But why does it matter when it comes, an updated 2006.1 is the same.
