ciao a tutti da oggi quando ho sistemato il mio overlay xeffects come da sito http://gentoo-xeffects.org/2007/02/17/svn-fixed-and-moved/ ma ora se vado a dare emerge -uDav world mi dice:

devi sistemare il package.unmask e .keyword. Come dice il messaggio di emerge vorresti mettere un pacchetto non slotted in due versioni differenti.

giusto una nota su l'uso di ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~amd64" nel caso non lo sapessi: come riporta il manuale di portage si possono riscontrare dei problemi seri di stabilità (capito anche a mie spese) specialmente per quanto riguarda il sistema base.
Spesso e volentieri conviene/è preferibile usare /etc/portage/package.keywords e smascherare singolarmente i pacchetti.

ma usando ~amd64 non ho mai messo nulla in package.unmask e keyword in quanto mi installava le versioni non stabili

La tua modifica vale fino al prossimo sync dell'overlay!
Conviene, copiarsi l'ebuild nel proprio overlay locale, e fare le modifiche lì!

e ma appunto ad ogni sync lo rimettevo apposto ma ora anche sistemandolo mi da quell errore

| molto probabilmente non lo fai con tutti gli ebuild. te ne rimane indietro uno. prova a controllare con emerge -uDNpvt beryl se compare lo sciuagurato. comunque che due palle sistemare tutto ad ogni sync. veramente, secondo me ti conviene metterli in un overlay tuo locale. |
