Go fire up your favorite browser, rush over to google and search for xchat.

the point is, google prompts for misstyping and comes up with the solution 'xchat xchat'
if you use this, it prompts with 'xchat xchat xchat xchat'

hm. jsut tried it with goole.com with no luck. maybe it's a google.de only problem

but why should they use different enginges?

Maybe the .de version is geared towards finding German words? The .uk version works as above.

normaly it's not
you have to click a button for only german search results

Yeah we have that too for the uk. But I was more speculating that the German version might run a different engine focusing on german words. This is probably rubbish, I've never really looked into how search engines work.
