Well, if the installation placed the executable(s) in a non-standard location, you may do as root: updatedb, then locate <filename> to find it. Then either add to your path or just type the full pathname to execute. |

Log out and log back in (or source /etc/profile). The profile should be updated with the correct $PATH.
You'll probably also need to be a member of the `games' group. _________________ Anyone who attributes a quote to themself is a pompous fool.

what you really emerged was this:
* app-xemacs/games
Latest version available: 1.13
Latest version installed: [ Not Installed ]
Size of downloaded files: 31 kB
Homepage: http://xemacs.org/
Description: Tetris, Sokoban, and Snake.
if you know what xemacs is, than you know it has a menu from witch you can run the games, if you don't than forget about those games... xemacs is a text editor (some of you might say "THE" text editor) with a lot of features (I say they are too many), including games and even it's own psychoanalist!! I really don't know why, but it's under the menu "Tools"
PS: vim rulez (but I do know how to use emacs, and it doesnt suck, it just doesnt beat Vim ) _________________ "Codito, ergo sum..." |
