I was just curious about what cvs applications you guys and girls regularly use. That is, update and compile regularly through cvs.
The only ones i regularly use are
- kopete
and
- gift-cvs (only because thats the only one available)
I wanna get an idea about what other apps are out there that are highly usable/stable through cvs. _________________ Ban Reality TV!

I've been using Guile out of CVS for a while. It's mainly because I'm writing a program using Guile that probably won't be ready untill after the next version of Guile is out . Most people probably needn't bother, but FWIW it's pretty stable. _________________ Anyone who attributes a quote to themself is a pompous fool.

By the way, when will next version of Guile be out? And what is "stable"? Next Guile or your Guile application? |

I use gaim-cvs. Just updated it today for the first time in two months or so, because of their heavy make-over which would b0rk everything. It works fine for the moment. I updated it because it would just fall out sometimes. _________________ Life is like a box of chocolates... Before you know it, it's empty... |

I'm not sure. Either way, if my program is released before, I could add support for both versions of Guile. It'd just be a little preprocessor work.

The CVS Guile. I haven't had any problems that were caused by Guile, I mean. _________________ Anyone who attributes a quote to themself is a pompous fool.

Last night I checked out a CVS version of Audacity. The stable version in portage now segfaults for me, although the masked 1.1.3 works. However, 1.1.3 sometimes crashes when I use `copy'. The CVS hasn't given me any trouble, though, and it has some nifty interface improvements. _________________ Anyone who attributes a quote to themself is a pompous fool.
