Ever notice how easy it is to get a response out of people on a forum? I mean you post one stupid, if maybe tasteless, joke, and the next thing you know, you've got two pages of flames directed at you, which maybe was exactly what you wanted. But man is it funny... |

That's the *VERY* condensed version of some satire we read in 10th grade called "A Modest Proposal", which went into every little detail of ending world hunger by eating babies. I can't remember the author, maybe Google will find it. Anyway, the satire was so serious, it was hard to tell he was joking. Great stuff
EDIT: Okay, I found an online copy here. why tenth grade readin' where i comes from thats saved ups for them 12th graders, i reckon the tenth graders ain't quite deeeveloped enough to understand such nonsense.
