I needed to remove python on my system to see if it was causing some install issues with emerging Openoffice.
After unmerging is and rebooting I can no longer use emerge! I get this error:
tylerm@Station-LV426 ~ $ emerge
bash: /usr/bin/emerge: /usr/bin/python: bad interpreter: No such file or directory
tylerm@Station-LV426 ~ $

Did you not notice the warning when you did this?

Yeah I saw the warning... somebody else's dumb idea to do it. I guess I grab then bin then.
