Hi,

Currently I'm running a debian/gentoo mixed distro. I would like to build this mixed distro as the seed stage to build one new stage1.

The following is the emerge --info information on my machine.

Quote:

I got a problem when emerge glibc, the following is the error it reports me. Before that I've already emerge coreutils by portage.

Quote:

make: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/glibc-2.3.6-r4/work/build-default-mipsel-unknown-linux-gnu-linuxthreads'
* Installing man pages...
/bin/date: relocation error: /bin/date: symbol clock_gettime, version GLIBC_2.2 not defined in file librt.so.1 with link time reference

!!! ERROR: sys-libs/glibc-2.3.6-r4 failed.
Call stack:
ebuild.sh, line 1546: Called dyn_install
ebuild.sh, line 1020: Called src_install
glibc-2.3.6-r4.ebuild, line 1213: Called toolchain-glibc_src_install
glibc-2.3.6-r4.ebuild, line 489: Called die

!!! simple run test (/bin/date) failed
!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, and the call stack if relevant.

Can anybody give me some hints? Thank you very much indeed.
