While moving the mouse very slowly I recognized that the mouse resolution seems to be very low. This effect even visibly increases when I turn up the mouse acceleration I want a fast but smooth moving cursor, of course... I know the options SampelRate and Resolution from XF86Config but changing them seems to have no effect (set them to SampleRate "200" and Resolution "600"). I'm using a Logitech MouseMan Wheel Optical through the IMPS/2 protocol.
Any help? |

If you find any way to improve this please post it here. That used to bother me also but I guess I've learned to live with it.
Setting the "mouse threshhold" to 4 (default) improves it but it would be nice to have the same pointer response whether you're moving slowly or fast and still have it smooth. |
