Alternatives to phpBB

phpBB is hardmasked due to loads of security issues. Do you still use phpBB? Do you have problems with it? Could you recommend me an alternative? :-)

There's punbb and yabb, and SMF. SMF seems to be the most comprehensive feature-wise. I don't know if it's in portage, but you might check the "webapps-experimental" overlay in layman.
