Hi,
Am having a couple of problems with arson at the moment, the first is when I run it as non-root I get the following error:
Code: | -scanbus not executable |
I have noticed a few posts on the forums relating to this but I haven't as yet seen a definative answer (I think, maybe I'm missing something!). I was wondering whether anyone could tell me what setup I am missing for this?
Second I am having an issue when running arson as root and trying to burn cd's, it will rip a cd to .wav files but then when I try to burn them to the disk I get the following error:
Code: | Not a valid audio file (track-01.wav) |
At present I am using xcdroast for most of burning but it has problems ripping some cd's (cd-extra not supported etc) so for these cd's I am having to use arson as root to rip the tracks and then xcdroast to burn them - this being the issue as even though arson says not a valid .wav xcdroast burns it ok and the cd plays aok.
I am running xcdroast 0.98_alpha13, cdrtools 2.01_alpha14, arson 0.9.7-r1.
Has anyone sorted the group/permission stuff for cdrecord? Any ideas about the .wav issue (also gives similar errors if I use mp3/ogg etc)
