se copmilo un software con un normalissimo configure --prefix=/usr make e make install, poi come faccio a dire a emerge che quello l'ho gia' installato io? grazie, Denis

Se esiste un ebuild puoi "inniettarlo":

# emerge -i categoria/pacchetto-versione

Se non esiste l'ebuild lo devi creare, ma a quel punto perché compilare a mano?
