I just got a ultrasparc10 (333mhz, 384mb ram), and I'm trying to install gentoo on it. Booting the CD is working fine, but the problem is that the system can´t find the harddrive. Anyone got an idea why?

Fredrik Svensson,
That looks ok - until it fails to find the drive.
Is it really there, set to master and connected properly ?
Its possible to reverse the IDE data cable at one end. It doesn't do any permanent damage but it won't work either. _________________ Regards,

The disk seem to be broken, I tried it in my x86 machine and it didn't find it in BIOS. |
