I had hal working great, my system automounted usb sticks perfectly, and then one day recently I started getting a "System error" when I inserted a usb stick. I so re-emerge hal and I get this error:
Code: | Working on: /var/tmp/portage/hal-0.5.7-r3/work/hal-0.5.7/doc/spec/hal-spec.xml

I get this same error for any of the versions around hal 0.5 Anyone have any idea what I need to do to fix this? It's not critical, but I would really like to figure this out. I figured something had been updated in portage recently, but no one else seems to be posting this error, so I'm not sure what I need to do. I typically run emerge -Du world every day, and I haven't had many problems that weren't related to a buggy ebuild that wasn't fixed by the next day. |
