I've been wanting to write a Perl-GTK+ app for some time now, and the interface is pretty much done in Glade. The problem is I can't generate the respective Perl code as the glade2perl app seems to be missing.
Searching the forums here for "glade" didn't turn up anything useful, and searching for "glade2perl" didn't give any results at all. I've installed the following packages, and I -think- these are all I should need:
dev-perl/gtk-perl-glade
dev-util/glade
gnome-base/libglade
What am I missing / doing wrong? This is the exact error that Glade gives me:
Code: |
Error running glade2perl to generate the Perl source code.
Check that you have glade2perl installed and that it is in your PATH.

Well, I checked thoroughly with a "find /usr -name glade2perl", and came out empty handed
Does anyone have a clue? _________________ "A poor programmer is he who blames his tools." |
