Thats what I get when I try and run distcc --verbose --daemon as found on this guide: http://cvs.gentoo.org/~hanno/distcc.html
What is odd is that i get the same error and IP address of 0.0.0.0:3632 on both machines I'm trying to set distcc up on.
Where I think my problem lies is in my /dev/distcc/hosts file. I've got a router which lives to assign different DHCP IP's each time a computer is rebooted. so in the hosts file I've included all 5 IP's that the 2 machines can be. I'm sure this is probably wrong, and I'm working on setting both machines to static IP (it's taking me some time I'm still relatively new to linux) I just figured I'd toss this error out to see if it could be any other problem.
Thanks for the help |
