hi,
i have a quick question... my cd burner is hdd and my dvd-rom is hdc, i heard that xcdroast only reads "scsi" drives, so it only picked up my cdrw on hdd with hdd=ide-scsi in the grub.conf, but i was wondering if i did hdc=ide-scsi, will that work to let xcdroast to read my dvd drive so i can do disc copy (disc-to-disc)??
thanks _________________

map { $i++ while chop; push (@dune,$i); undef $i; } split /[eE]/;
map { print chr ${\(shift(@dune) + $_)}; } split /[DUNE]/,$japh;

i believe that you only need to make the acctuall writing device a ide-scsi. So i don't think your DVD-rom needs that option passed to it. _________________ >>>>> Ignorance is bliss <<<<< |
