Salve, qualcuno di voi conosce / ha / sa come sviluppare un plugin che faccia un overlay sul dektop con il titolo di una canzone che parte in xmms?
Pensavo a qualcosa tipo l'overlay di iTunes su Mac.... ora non ho voglia di cercare uno screenshot, ma credo che abbiate presente cosa intendo

Forse potrebbe fare a caso tuo il plugin "On Screen Display" di XMMS.

| Concordo, xosd è molto ugly. xmms.theme di superkaramba è bellino graficamente (personalmente lo uso per la progress bar e i comandi) però il titolo resta sempre on-screen.... io vorrei qualcosa piu tipo iTunes, cioe graficamente mi sta benissimo superkaramba, ma vorrei che la "finestra" uscisse solo quando cambia canzone e restasse per n secondi, salvo poi scomparire.... se qualcuno ha idee su come fare qualcosa di simile in un tema superkaramba, è benissimo accetto |

boh.. evidentemente non riesco ad esprimermi...
Anche io sto parlando di SUPERKARAMBA... e, per l'appunto, dicevo che mi sembra alcuni lo utilizzino con fluxbox. tutto lì. mi sembra ci sia un post in giro su questo forum... in inglese.

Bhe, a forza di parlarne (di questo miracoloso SuperKaramba) può essere che in questi giorni mi decida a provarlo, e uso fluxbox, quindi vedremo se sono compatibili o meno  |

Ma lo fa il plugin di xmms... non e' bruttissimo, basta perderci due minuti a configurarlo

Il problema superkaramba-fluxbox non esiste: io ho un amico che utilizza la kroller-bar con superkaramba sotto fluxbox (grande mrfree ) e cmq il brutto sta nel fatto che per chi non ce l'ha installato si deve compilare tutte le qt e le kde-libs!
