Hello.
This is my 3rd attempt to install Gentoo and everytime I try to emerge desktop environments something is wrong, breaking my base Gentoo Installation.
I am using the Gentoo Linux Documentation on the GNOME Configuration HOWTO found here: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gnome-config.xml
So as instructed, I did:

minutes later, I get this problem:

!!! dev-lang/python-2.4.2 does not actually support the tk USE flag!
!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, and the call stack if relevant. |
What should I do?
Some notes:
1) Just installed the Gentoo system successfully
2) Just installed the nvidia-drivers successfully
3) I'm using the Gentoo 2.6.17 r8
