Hello, all. I'm soon going to be re-doing my entire server that runs email, website, Jabber, ssh, and other services for my users of theoretic.com. Currently each service has its own userbase, even though the users are more or less the same people accross the various services. I've learned of LDAP, and although I don't have any experience in it, I've decided I'm going to try it. It'll be so much better than managing 10+ different service userbases for the same people.
I'm simply hoping for any tips and pointers for setting up LDAP on Gentoo. Specifically setting it up with the first 3 services I'm going to be installing: Apache's authentication system (to run TWiki for the website), Procmail and Courier IMAPd (to run IMAP and webmail email accounts), and SSH (for remote terminal login). _________________ * Theoretic Solutions "The Internet's Open Think-Tank" - http://www.theoretic.com |
