|
|
Sorry if this has been detailed here before - I did search first..
After upgrading portage to 2.0.8 I could no longer emerge anything. I was getting errors to do with the actual emerge code itself (I think). Doing 'emerge clean' and 'emerge unmerge' did work though so I decided to do an 'emerge unmerge portage-2.0.8' hoping that it would fall back to the last working verion of portage that I hadn't unmerged.
Anyway, it deleted /usr/bin/emerge and now I'm stuck. Does anyone know a good way of reinstalling portage without going throuth the emerge process?
Thanks for any help.' |

I'm not positive of this files contents, but you might check in /usr/portage/sys-apps/portage/files/README.RESCUE _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |
