Either that or the audio/video sync is off, but I've always had troubles with watching flash videos (in mozilla/galeon/konquerer) in linux. The video is a lot slower compared to Windows. Is it just me? Is there a way I can fix this or do I just have to bear with it? _________________ "I know it's only rock and roll but I like it." |

I'm seeing the same problem with mplayer. Really wish I could fix it.

nvidia. Everything else plays just fine for me (except for that full resolution matrix trailer arggg!!! ) but flash is just slow. I'm using the netscape-flash ebuild. _________________ "I know it's only rock and roll but I like it." |

I was able to play the full-resolution Matrix: Reloaded trailer just fine on a mere Duron 900; turning on Low Latency Scheduling (you have to turn it on, not just compile it in) was the trick. |

Cossins:
(As root)
Code: | echo 1 > /proc/sys/kernel/lowlatency |
You can also cat that to see if it's on or not. |

I have no such entry in /proc/sys/kernel - I'm running 2.5.68, does that mean anything? |

You need to have both "Low latency scheduling" compiled into your kernel AND "Control low latency with sysctl"
Here's my question, does it turn on automagically if "Control low latency with sysctl" is left out? |
