Gnome problem: Every theme got black parts.

Hi,

Yesterday it was the firsttime i thought I wanted to use a window manager by VNC. So I started
VNC and let it starts a gnome-session (light). It works very nice except for one thing:

All the menu's, backgrounds and toolbars are black. Its with every theme. I remerged the whole
gnome light and I still got the problem:

It would be very cool if soneone got the answer

Extra:

I can edit the menu toolbars etc with the "background and emblems" menu. But that still doesn't fix the problem with the themes.

Edit:
- And when I use a any colour, it still appears black.
- Also windows of Gaim and other applications got the same behaviour. Some parts are black. When I make the toolbars transparant, they are painted okey, but when they are one colour then its not correct.
