hello i've got a nforce2 chipset MB and i want to activate sound using the nforce-audio package. when it emerges, there's always a warning message saying "unresolved symbol nvaudio.o" and the module won't load. is there an alternative driver? i've read about an alternative some time ago, it was something with i80 or so ... i'm not sure
greetings

I had this problem too...
You want the Intel i810 support in menuconfig under Sound...
Unless you can get nforce-audio to work... and if so, let me know - i can get it to install, but it always fails to load... _________________ TheAgent

yeah that's what it was. intel ... well i'll try this. i've got the same shuttle xpc like you and well nvidia doesn't works. emerge is ok but it doesn't load. i guess we have to wait for a new version or perhaps there's something wrong with the ebuild.
