No running windows found problem

Hi,
When using FireFox or under XFCE or other X, I get this message in the shell when runing it from there

No running windows found
What can I do?

This looks like the same problems as "No running windows found" for firefox and thunderbird, so please see that thread and follow up there if you have any more questions. If it isn't, PM me, and I'll move this thread back out into Desktop Environments.
