I am running updates on my mythTV box (which basically just has the minimum packages required for mythtv) and during an emerge -u world, it failed on trying to compile jpeg. This was the first package (I think) after glibc and gcc got updated (I don't think they were huge version jumps). Anyone able to point me in a direction I could try?

As suggested in topic 281660, re-emerge libtool. Please follow up to that topic if necessary.
