I had a look around the Transgaming website and cant find anything on exactly how it makes the calls to hardware.....might try a post on their site and see what they come up with I'm quite interested myself as I m looking at getting a 5.1 card shortly........theoretically it should still work as it should still be using existing drivers to output the sound ,it would just depend on how good winex was translating/decoding the particular games/apps audio to how much noise was produced.......  anyone feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken......

I have checked the forums there a little.
One of the things I'd love to see is a EAX -> OpenAL thing in winex, that'd be great, as a shitload of stuff supports EAX and uses it for surround. |
