Hello, this is just a minor glitch. Maybe someone has an idea how to solve it.
I can run mp3's without a problem with mpg123 and I can play them in Nautilus (esd is running). It works when I use the Music view and it works when I keep my mouse over them (the "preview"). But when I doubleclick, they don't play. But I don't like to use the Music view (because it plays all files, not just one) so I would like this to work.
It is configured to launch mp3 files with "mpg123" so this should work but it doesn't. Actually once it did, but only once. :/ Never again. It also doesn't matter if esd is running or not.

I hope I get rhythmbox working soon so I don't need to use Nautilus anymore. :)

Why not XMMS instead of mpg123? Works great for me.

I'm not very motivated to compile Gtk1.2 apps right now. =)
This would be my last resort. Rythmbox works now but it doesn't seem to be all that much usefull yet. Still using Nautilus with Musicview and just accepting that it plays all files in a row. =)

Why not? XMMS is a great program.

Yes it is... I'm just in a Gtk2 mood right now. :) I'm also wondering why it doesn't work... It should...
