I am trying to emerge rss-glx and imagemagik is a dependency.
I am getting the above error when it starts to compile.
I tried googling for it without sucess.

Looks like a dependency which I don't really understand.... I see you're not running KDE, but that's not needed by imagemagick nor rss-glx I think....
Besides that, the compile error is talking about `png_ptr' undeclared |

Hi to all,
yes, it happened also to me, it seems there's a bug, see
https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-477692-highlight-imagemagick.html
I emerge'd the unstable version (in /etc/portage/package.keyword set media-gfx/imagemagick ~x86)
at least it compiled fine, but I didn't try it yet.
