Yet again, I've screwed the install up!
Hi, all.
Yet again, I have screwed my Ultra 10 install up! I have never managed to install Gentoo on my box (and survived the reboot). The best I can manage is Debian Sarge. Can anybody help by doing an SSH install, once I have booted the CD? Terribly wimpy question, but failing this, I will never have Gentoo on my Sparc .
Cheers,
Chris.

The choise (sic) of OS?
An official Gentoo port exists for Sparc. |

Yeah, chris_andrew, I don't know what Beefrum was smoking either. Anyway, rather than do an ssh install for you, why don't you go through what your problems are? I'm sure we'd all be happy to help. Ok, that's a lie, but I know that I, at least, would be happy to help. I haven't done an Ultra10 yet, but I've some experience on Ultra5's. Post your troubles here, we'll try to sort them out. |

Many thanks. I think it is the /etc/fstab. Let me have a think and get back to you, if ok.
Cheers,
Chris. |

Chris,
I'll try and help if you want. I have reinstalled three times this year due to finger trouble, so I am quite good at it now! Still not resolved the keymap though, seems all are screwed on 2.4 apart from sunkeymap....(or all the ones I have inspected)
