Hehe, I wanna do an emerge -e world (that recompiles EVERYTHING, right?). But i wanna do it over the course of 4-5 nights. How to i get it to resume re-emerging everything from where it was after the first night?
Thanks,

Add AUTOCLEAN="no" to make.conf to have it not recompile everything. |

Well, if you used ctrl-z to interrupt the build, then you could use fg to go back (as long as you didn't log out of the terminal you were recompiling from)...? |

You can also resume a stopped "emerge -e world" with "emerge --resume". This is how I did it, and it worked fine. |
