I'm using one of the Opera 7 "developer" ebuilds in portage without any problems at all. |

Sorry, I should have included that in the post. I'm using the opera-7.11.ebuild. Are you familiar with enabling the "dev" versions in /etc/make.conf?

Change this line:
#ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~arch"
To:
ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86"
|
(I'm assuming you're using an i86 architecture.)
Don't forget to re-comment it when you're done. I have made that mistake a number of times
By the way, I think Opera 7 is excellent, although the default skin sucks. |
