There seem to be a ton of Manifest files missing from portage. I've even switched rsync mirrors and they're still not there when I sync.
Pretty much all of gnome is missing Manifests, and now nothing in net-mail has them either.
Without Manifest files, emerge will terminate with this error:
| Code: | >>> emerge (1 of 2) net-mail/uw-imap-2002c to /
!!! No package manifest found: /usr/portage/net-mail/uw-imap/Manifest

EDIT:
I saw the sticky and assumed it meant a fix or workaround was available. I was wrong. The Manifest files are still missing from several categories on the rsync mirrors. I have to update manually until they get fixed. |
